Once a cheater always a cheater?
It's a question that can spark big debates and a wide variety of emotions. And it certainly was the case when Jana Kramer weighed in on her iHeartRadio Whine Down podcast.
"I think it's situational," she shared March 19 during the Ask Jana Anything segment. "Having said that, I think if I would have stayed married to [an ex], I think he would have cheated forever, but I think he's capable of not cheating in his next serious relationship."
"I think people can change," Jana continued. "And I've seen people change."
Before finding love with soccer star Allan Russell, the country singer was previously married to Michael Gambino in 2004 and Johnathon Schaech from 2010 to 2011. She was also married to Mike Caussin from 2015 to 2021 and share two children together—Jolie, 7, and Jace, 4.
Previously, Jana revealed on Red Table Talk that Mike had cheated on her with more than 13 women. Mike has previously spoken out about his infidelity and entered rehab in 2016 for sex addiction.
As she works to move forward from her past breakups, Jana said she doesn't want to ever deal with infidelity again.
"I'd rather just be like this is not working out for me because I know what it does," she told guest and close friend Kathryn Woodard. "I know what it feels like to cheat on someone and I know what it feels like to be cheated on."
These days, Jana is focused on building her long-distance relationship with Allan, who calls Scotland home.
And while Allan and Mike have yet to meet, Jana says she believes it will happen eventually.
"I struggle with this question because I'm really trying to be more private with this relationship," the One Tree Hill alum said. "I will also say they will for sure meet because I'm sure he will be around the kids eventually."
And while Jana isn't rushing this relationship, the 39-year-old remains open to getting married again.
"I still believe in love and everything that comes with it," she wrote on Instagram Stories March 20. "I believe in the great love. And we all deserve it."
E! News has reached out to Mike for comment on Jana's latest podcast and hasn't heard back.
